Matthew 27: 1, 2, 11 - 14

Mark 15: 1- 5

In the worst hours of Jesus' life during Holy Week, Pontius Pilate, the Roman governor, called Jesus, "king," answering the question the Wise Men asked of Herod the Great, "Where is he that is born King of the Jews?"

Christians believe that Jesus is King of King and Lord of Lords, and that he will come again to rule both heaven and earth.

3. What did Pilate reply?

[Pilate replied," You know I'm not a Jew! Your own people and the chief priests brought you to me. What have you done?]

4. What did Jesus say about his kingdom?

[Jesus said, "My kingdom does not belong to this world."]

5. What did Jesus say about truth?

[Jesus said, "I was born into the world to tell the truth. And everyone who belongs to the truth knows my voice."]
