Sixth Sunday of Epiphany

You Have Turned My Sorrow into Joyful Dancing

Psalm 30: 11

Today as we give thanks for healing, we remember that King David danced in joy before the Lord.

Copy the cover on green card stock.

Let the children make dancers out of craft paper or fun foam, and clothe them with scraps of fabric or paper. Rice paper comes in wonderful patterns and is easy to fold and shape.

You may choose any sort of dancers you like - ballet, contemporary, folk - as we think about all those people who pray with their bodies in motion.
