Third Sunday of Epiphany

It Won't Matter if You Are Crying or Laughing

1 Corinthians 7:30

God looks at the words that are written on our hearts - he doesn't see the expressions on our faces.

Let the children make masks from lightweight corrugated cardboard or paper (it will curve more easily and will be easier to wear), using chenille stems and fun foam or construction paper to make eyes, eyebrows and mouths.

They can make any facial expressions they like on the masks. You can attach elastic to the masks so they can wear them, or you can put up the banner and the background and make a charming bulletin board.
