The Sixth Sunday of Easter

His Life gave Light to Everyone

Both candles and flowers are symbols of the risen Christ - any size, shape or color, although we might prefer to use the Easter colors of white and yellow or gold.

Candle rings bring both of these symbols of Jesus together.

Buy a white or gold candle for each child (or ask them to bring them from home.)

Using plastic circles which are large enough to slip over the candles (plastic canvas shapes allow some interweaving of the stems) and a glue gun, glue silk or plastic flowers to the circles.

Slip the rings over the candles, and you have made a great gift for Mother's Day. Or based on a Christmas theme, they also make wonderful Christmas gifts.

Refrigerator magnets makes wonderful gifts as well.
