Fifth Sunday of Easter

In My Father's House Are Many Rooms

John 14: 2

Jesus promised that he was going ahead of us to make a room for each of us in his Father's house.

What sort of room would he make for each one of us? A bedroom, a living room, a kitchen, or maybe even a patio?

And how would he furnish it so that we would know it was especially ours?

Copy the verse on yellow card stock to make a binder insert, and let each child use scraps of fabric, beads, paper, craft sticks, and whatever leftover supplies you have to create his or her special room on the cover.

This verse might also make an interesting bulletin board, and an ambitious class might want to make a cutaway version of God's mansion, like a doll house.
